Dermal Fillers
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) dermal filler
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid — a substance naturally found in the skin that helps it retain moisture, structure and volume.
As we age, we gradually lose facial volume and definition. This can contribute to hollowing, deeper folds, reduced support and a more tired appearance. Dermal filler can be used, where clinically appropriate, to subtly restore volume, support facial balance and enhance your natural features.
At Cia Clinic, my approach is always refined and conservative. The aim is never to alter who you are or create an overfilled look. It is to create a soft, balanced result that still looks like you.
What can dermal filler help with?
Dermal filler may be suitable for concerns such as:
-
Loss of facial volume
-
Cheek or mid-face support
-
Softening the appearance of facial folds
-
Chin or jawline definition
-
Lip shape, hydration or subtle volume
-
Overall facial balance and profile harmony
Your consultation
Every filler treatment begins with a thorough consultation with Independent Nurse Prescriber Emma. We will discuss your concerns, medical history, previous treatments and what you would like to achieve.
Your face will be assessed as a whole, both at rest and in movement, before a bespoke treatment plan is created. We will discuss the appropriate treatment options, realistic outcomes, risks, aftercare and costs before you decide whether to proceed.
Your safety matters
Dermal filler is a medical aesthetic treatment and is not suitable for everyone. As with any injectable procedure, there are risks, including swelling, bruising, tenderness, asymmetry, infection and, rarely, more serious complications.
Treatment is only recommended when it is safe, appropriate and genuinely aligned with your goals. You will never be pressured to have more treatment than you need.
