Get to know the nurse behind Cia Clinic
My journey into aesthetics began from a very personal place. After having my daughter in my thirties, I remember looking in the mirror and feeling as though I no longer recognised the woman looking back at me. I still felt young and vibrant on the inside — I simply wanted the outside to reflect how I felt on the inside.
With over a decade of nursing experience, I wanted to understand the science behind skin ageing properly. I immersed myself in research, trained as an aesthetic injector, completed my V300 qualification as an Independent Nurse Prescriber and went on to work within one of the UK’s leading medical aesthetics clinics, gaining advanced clinical experience and training alongside some of the most respected names in the industry, including Allergan and Teoxane faculty.
What I loved most was seeing the change in my patients’ confidence. Improving their skin wasn’t about making them look different — it was about helping them feel like themselves again.
That experience shaped everything I believe about aesthetics today. Ageing well isn’t about one treatment or chasing individual lines; it’s about investing in your skin over time with the right combination of treatments, tailored as your skin changes.
